About the compensation system

Basic compensation (compensation available to all customers)

In the unlikely event that an accident occurs during use,
you will be compensated within the compensation limit.

Note

Examples where the insurance/compensation system is not applicable

• If you do not report the accident to the police (if there is no accident certificate)

• Accidents caused by someone other than the person who reported at the time of departure

• Accident caused by unlicensed driving

• Accidents caused by drunk driving

• Accidents caused when the rental period is delayed without permission

• If there is a violation of other matters listed in the rental agreement, etc. (Example) If the key is left in the car and the key is stolen.

Other items to be borne by the customer

• tire puncture

• Loss or damage of hubcap only

  • For replacement of the spare tire, please use the designated insurance company's roadside assistance, or do it yourself.

  • If your vehicle has a flat tire and is not equipped with a spare tire, please do not use the on-board puncture repair kit and instead request roadside assistance from your insurance company. We will transport it to the nearest repair shop etc. by roadside service. (Free if within the conditions specified by the non-life insurance company for road service)

  • If you have no choice but to use an in-vehicle puncture repair kit as an emergency measure for a puncture, the cost of the in-vehicle puncture repair kit will be borne by the customer.

  • The customer will be responsible for the cost of repairing damaged tires, the cost of new tires and labor if tires need to be replaced, and the cost of lost foil caps. Damaged wheels will be subject to a non-operation charge.

  • When replacing tires with new ones, please contact the store you are departing from in advance. In principle, we will replace the damaged tire with one that is equivalent to the damaged one.

• Non-operation charge (NOC)

In the unlikely event that an accident, theft, breakdown, defacement, etc. occurs and the vehicle requires repair or cleaning, you will be required to pay the following amount as business compensation during that period.
